Life can blindside us and when that happens it can knock us off our feet. It happened to me just this past week.

A client meeting with two new members of their project team quickly devolved into frustration that bordered on anger — theirs, not mine. “Why did you…?!” “Why wasn’t I…?!” “I have 20 years of experience…!”
